Ewa Dura is an artist with a wide range of interests.
She draws her artistic inspiration from a rich tapestry of cultural and traditional sources, including myths and local folklore.
Ewa Dura is an expert in drawing and painting using classical techniques. She also experiments with small sculptural forms. She boldly uses bright, strong, even metallic colours, ornaments and decorations to highlight selected elements and create her artistic masterpieces. She also appreciates contrast, especially minimalism in black and white, where colour appears sporadically as a counterpoint.
Ewa Dura has a degree in Cultural Studies and a PhD in Literary Studies. In 2018 she finished her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. She has produced both theoretical works and small poetic forms. In her theoretical and scientific works she has also dealt with the theme of imaginative space. In her artistic journeys she confidently pursues solutions in unlimited creative imagination and imaginary space.
Ewa Dura is an individual and somewhat mysterious artist whose cultural and literary education and studies are translated into atmospheric paintings and illustrations.
